The last one is especially important. We often attribute the Star Wars or Star Trek feeling of, ‘everyone from that race looks like that or does that or likes that’. Does every Dwarf have to love ale? Is every Elf a runway model firing a longbow? Are all Goblins bloodthirsty lemmings? Adding variations into other races, like we do with humans in most campaigns, gives them more life to me as well.
